Back Again^^
Haha...long time never post le...but a certain someone keep bugging me to post so ii shall....1st week of school is REALLY tiring..never knew 1st week like tat le...haiz...Juniors in Sec 1 and 2 must learn to appreciate the time you have now cus by the time you come to Sec 3...no more free time le...1st Day (Monday)Todae was really a special day...instead of studying..the whole school made paper boats and it was super fun...^^I was one in charge of 1E...dun know if because it was the 1st day and they were all new..but ii really have to say...ii have nvr seen a class as quiet as them...If 2F'09 could be like them sometime...it would be great..haha..XD...But..ii am really really proud of 1E'10 because they managed to make 6204 boats!! It was really a great accomplishment...ii was super shocked at their speed...next time need help for folding stuff...must go find tat class..:)Anyways...it was a really nice day and ii really enjoyed it....In the end..we managed to fold 171550 boats...hope ii got the number right...so..HAPPY 125th BIRTHDAY GAN ENG SENG SCHOOL!!2nd Day (Tuesday)Nothing special about school....same as what we do every year...teacher come in and introduce and then we introduce ourselves....After school we had a canoe meeting in the AVA room and the teachers showed us what we have accomplished in 2009 compared to the other years...it was really a big difference so GESS Canoe Sprint Team will definitely win more in 2010 too!! Then we wrote our personal goals and division goals....after that we played Captain's ball...it was super fun and really tiring...we went to Tiong afterwards and then went home....Did some homework and went to sleep...MY PERSONAL GOAL:-To get into the finals no matter what boat ii am in^^-A bronze medal (K1)-A silver medal (K2)*ii will definitely do my best so that in the chance that ii don't accomplish any of this...ii will not regret...but ii will definitely try to win cus ii never wanna get the horrible and depressed feeling ii felt after losing in 2009...3rd Day (Wednesday) Met new teachers todae and SOME of them have really high expectations of us><...MUST work hard to prove that 3G'10 is a GOOD, GREAT & GENIUS class...:) Had land training and went to Tiong afterwards....after eating...went home...do homework and then fall asleep...zZz4th Day (Thursday)Nothing special todae...After school went with Shiying and Amira to Bugis Junction to buy *something..haha...cannot say what is it...anyway FOX has a sale!! ii wanna buy tat white Mickey Mouse hoodie!! But couldn't find it:(...hope tat other outlets has it....ii really want it..Then..went home and did homework till 12+..after tat went to sleep...5th Day (Friday)Nothing special too....after school..went for training...after carrying out all the boats...did warm-ups and then went down into the water...Our program was 22km...every 7km do portage and rest and drink your isotonic drink...we started off...at the beginning..ii was the furthest back...after tat ii overtook pple 1 by 1 and by the 5km...ii caught up to Shiying...then pace with her until 7km..went back to do portage...wanted to go out again...but started to rain heavily and had to go in...the raindrops were like hitting my face hard...the wind blowing really strongly...thought ii was going to be blown away....after rain...went down and did another 6km...aft tat came up and keep the boats...went to Tiong and eat and then went home...online for a while...then went to sleep..zZZ6th Day (Saturday)Woke up late todae!! Forgot to set alarm....careless me...rushed to training in a Taxi and had to 100 push-ups for being late...then had to put straws on my boat...Coach said everytime we do a stroke...had to touch the straw...so ii did....not happy with myself todae...was really slow....Have to improve myself MUCH MUCH more....How can ii expect to even get into the FINALS with this standard? Nxt training...will push myself even more...Finished 22km...Was the last but at least ii finished....Coach said ii was ready for the marathon le...will definitely do my best in the Marathon..^^Signing off....byes^^

Trainings and Krabi Expedition 2009 (Day 4)
Saturday Land Training:
Had land training todae and some of the seniors came....Waichong, Joon Guan, Joel and Jiasheng...well ii sorta overslept and luckily...Shiying woke me up with a phone call....ii rushed to sch after getting the call...thnx Shiying!.....well then when ii got there...they were already running so ii joined in but instead of running the 3 rounds ii was supposed to...only had time for 2 rounds...oh well...then aft tat we went to get our bags and 100 plus and went to the ISH to play floorball...we split into 2 teams...RED team - Me, Waichong, Shiying, Benji, Syafiq and Yuchen....YELLOW team - Kelin, Amira, Felicia, Joonguan, Joel and Jiasheng....well...after a long time and lots of injuries....the YELLOW team won...it was super tiring and painful...but it was really fun...then we went to Tiong to eat....after eating...ii took 195 with Kelin and went home...
ii feel really angry at a certain person...won't write the person's name cus it wld be bad....but if ii don't say anything....ii am scared tat ii would really burst with all the anger and start scolding....well...anyway....ii really want to tell this person..."Did ii do anything wrong to you? Why do you keep pinpointing me? Must you really point out every mistake ii make? What did ii actually do to make you treat me like tat? If ii did anything wrong to you...you can just tell me...instead of treating me like tat....ii am holding my anger in now....but if you keep pushing me...ii might not be able to control myself and start scolding and slashing you with words....Seriously...please stop it." Well...ii really hope the person stops.....if he/she does not...ii really don't know what ii might do....
Day 4 (Day that we go back to coconut home):
Well....ii woke up quite early...at bout ii think 6am....haha...then we helped to burry Damien in the sand after washing up and everything...afterwards we started to keep the tents and put all our stuff in one place so later we could load them all up the safety boat...then we went to the dining hall...we found out that we were all late....then Ms Lim said cus we were late we had to do a punishment....it was fair...but it was really tiring...we had to do 250 push-ups before breakfast and another 250 before lunch....so we did the 250 push-ups and had breakfast after...ii didn't have much appetite again and ate not much....then we went to load all our stuff into the boat...afterwards we went to our boats and began to set off...our first destination was the lagoon we went on the 3rd day to find Joon guan's watch.....the water was really shallow and it was quite hard to paddle...we saw a lot of starfish and crabs..plus...there was one fish tat actually jumped in my boat....it kept flipping and scared me...but in the end we couldn't actually find Joon Guan's watch...sorry senior...then after that we paddled for quite a long time...and after quite some time...we reached an island where we rested for quite a while....we played the "capsize game' there again and Jiasheng's camera got wet and can't be used anymore....sorry....well then we paddled for really long...and watching Benji, Joon Guan, Waichong and Jiasheng's conversation and having with one another really made me laugh....then we tried to put all the kayaks in one line but it took really slow so we untied all the boats and went back to the"normal" way of paddling...we went to this island which was like a cove like tat to have lunch...it was really cool...but there were ALOT of monkeys...which was sorta scary...ii mean seriously...there was like a herd....ii even use Benji as a shield when ii went to return my plate...then after tat was the canyon...this time ii went with Shiying...and which is more comfortable since ii could have more things to talk...we went in the canyon in one line and throughout the way..ii was singing...haha...noise pollution...and sometimes...Shiying, Nana and Felicia sang along too....when we finished and came out...we were supposed to take a pic and the back person was supposed to jump....apparently...ii don't know what happened...it was either ii slipped and pulled Benji down...or he pulled me down....ii think he pulling me down was more likely since...it is really unlikely for me to pull him...then Yangyou and Syafiq were nice to switch with us to go back....(luckily they did if not we would have really really lagged behind alot)...so thnx alot...then we reached shore...and the guys were having so much fun playing with the bucket of fresh water...spraying pple...including me...ii was soaking wet when ii sat in the truck....it was really cold...and this time when Huey said 2mins..he really meant it...we reached Coconut home in 2mins...after loading all the stuff...we needed to do the 250 push-ups...we were really tired and Ms Lim and Mr Teo decided that after 150 push-ups that it was enough and that as long as we understood our mistake...it was fine...we went back to the hut to take a shower...don't know why but ii was in a bad mood...anyway...went to Joel's hut after showering to take aloe vera...Keren took it and finished it so there was no more...when ii went back a second time to giv them someting...ii stepped on a clump of mimosa...and it really stung....after tat...Shiying sorta carried me to the dining hall cus ii was barefooted and she hurt her ankle...thnx Shiying...Huey started teaching us this Thai dish...which ii forgot the name of...it looked delicious but ii had no appetite...ii felt hot and cold at the same time...really no appetite...so just sat there...Shiying...tried cooking and brought the dish over..ii tried some but it was too salty...good effort though...then Keren brought some spaghetti for me...but after a few bites..ii couldn't really eat le...Shiying brought over another dish but ii really didn't wanna eat...after tat ii tried this Thai dish...ii don't know how to describe it....hmm...sorta like...banana pancakes.....with chocolate syrup...ii took about 4 to 5 bites of this...and it was the dish tat ii actually ate the most...afterwards...we gathered on the grass patch to say our reflections...we were seated in like a square on straw mats...then we started saying our reflections...ii said mine early cus ii was really afraid that ii would be left nothing to say....some reflections were really funny like Xiaowei saying about sometimes..to get to the goal...you cannot think about the goal...and Damien saying..that hunger was what led him on....he even said tat Manoj looked like FRENCH FRIES to him..haha...then after everyone had said...we thanked TC and Huey and went to bed...ii slept pretty fast cus we had to wake up really early tmrw...tats all for the 4th day and ii will write bout the 5th day soon....Byes...

Krabi Expedition 2009 (Day 3)
Day 3:
Well...ii slept better but still woke up at 5+...near to 6...and the rooster was crowing again....we packed our stuff for the 2 days 1 night expedition and met at the dining hall at 7am again...had our breakfast..this time...ii managed to eat more...haha...then Huey gave us a short briefing and after tat...cus the tide was low...so we had to bring our stuff over to the boat that will carry the stuffs that we don't need till we reach the island....ii scared step on something sharp again so kept my sandals on this time...ii walked with Shiying and Joel....and kept quiet while listening to them....then after a long long walk there and a long long walk back....we finally reached shore....Todae...alot of pple switched partners....Shiying still got her *engine though...Haressh got paired with Kaikin and Joel was with Xiaowei....and some other pple oso switched too...ii was paired with umm....Jiasheng...and even with Shiying's help...it was really hard...getting the boat out to the sea.....after lots of pulling and pushing...the boat was finally out and then we started paddling...we paddled quite close together compared to yesterday...then pple were singing and ii think it was really nice...ii guess this was due to what TC said yester day

ii think these words were really what inspired us to paddle as one whole group...well then...after a whole lot of islands and alot of paddling...we reached an island where we were having our lunch and SNORKLING....we ate the lunch...but ii didn't eat much...as usual....didn't have much of an appetite...then after lunch...we went snorkling....it was okay...but ii don't know why....ii kept breathing in saltwater....we played in the water for quite a while...splashing each other and then we had to go up....after taking our stuff...we head back to our boats...then ii saw a swing...ii sat on it for a while...Haiz...pity couldn't sit on it longer....then we got back to the boats...When ii was about to see the boat...ii saw something tat the waves were pushing up the shore...ii thought it was a plastic bag...but it turned out to be a jellyfish..shocked me ah....Pics below

Then...after lots of paddling...we reached an island called "Bird Nest island"...ii took a pic of what ii think is a birdnest...The picture is below...and after tat we were insructed to find a hidden lagoon...and if we could find it...Huey said we could go shopping on the last day...so naturally everyone started to chiong...especially Benji..he and his *speedboat...everyone decided to go to the right but Jiasheng saw like 2 beaches in the middle so we just decided to go straight...Manoj and Damien also went with us....after seeing tat they went the wrong way...everyone turned left and headed where we were heading...well...after we all reached...ii took lots of pics....Then they started playing games while we took lots of pics....afterwards....ii think Huey started this "game"....well then alot of pple were in the water le...ii got capsized like 3 times....then we need to go to the place where we are camping on....which would take..*3mins(Huey's timing is not normal de...haha)...well then...ii got really cold...and my teeth were like chattering...luckily Joel lent me his umm...sorta like windbreaker.....haha...he's the Mama...then we reached the beach and we formed a human rope...getting all our stuff, tents and sleeping bags from the safety boat...then afterwards...we set up our tents and went to clean up...after dinner...ii ate okay this time...we had quite alot of time to chat and watever...so Shiying and me head back to the tents area...we sat in Haressh's tent for a while and later we talked to TC....Amira came along and afterwards..we talked a while and ii borrowed a torch from Jiasheng cus none of us have one...then we went to the dining hall for a while and we went back to the tent to sleep le...after putting on aloe vera on my sun-burn...we laid on our sleeping bags and tried to sleep...we talked for a while and Amira was the fastest to sleep....after that ii also slowly fell asleep...
Sleeping by the sea at the beach gives me a really peaceful feeling....the scenery...the sounds of the waves gave a really serene feel...and ii really liked it....

Krabi Expedition 2009 (Day 2)
This will be about my second day about the Krabi trip...
Lots&Lots of sorries to Joel about not mentioning the Spiderman he bought for us.....Well...actually at the festival on the 1st day...he bought a Spiderman toy for Shiying and me and it really cute....I like it alot and many many thanks to Joel....ii put a pic of it below for Joel Lim to admire....
Day 2
Well...ii woke up at like what 4+am even though ii was supposed to wake up at 6am....don't know what happened....usually ii can sleep until very late de and refused to wake up...guess ii was too excited bah.....anyways ii couldn't sleep....ii kept drifting in and out of dreamland....Shiying too...one of the may reasons why we are partners ( its what we always say when we find something that we both have in common) Well...ii couldn't fall asleep again..partially because of a rooster crowing....then..ii just sit there...and when ii heard noise coming from Kelin's hut at bout 5+...me and Shiying went over...we ate some snacks and when it was like 6+...we went back to our hut to change and get ready...well then we assembled at the dining area at 7am...we ate a breakfast...(ii didn't eat much again) and afterwards Huey distrubuted water bottle and dry packs for us to put our stuff while on the boat...Mine was BLUE..haha...ii liked the green and black one better though....then we did a simple warm-up and had to bring the heavy boats down....Since there was like 6 boats....the guys carried them...We followed...helping them hold the water bottles and dry packs...

Cus it was hard to walk in sandals...so ii took it off....then when ii was walking...suddenly ii got pricked by something....it was super painful...ii couldn't walk properly so ii sat on the boat and the guys pulled it across the water..then we started paddling...ii was partnered with Shiying...and we really lagged behind alot alot...Lots of THANKS to Haressh and Joel who waited for us!! Well....it was like every move we make...we meet a wave...it was super annoying...luckily Joel and Haressh decided to switch with us....Joel paired up with me and Haressh paired up with Shiying...Having Joel behind was quite nice cause he was singing along the way...^^Ând my toe was like red and swollen but it got better after a while...well...then we paddled to this island for lunch and we had fun cus we played on the boat....splashed each other and so on...Pics below

the lunch was so-so..ii finished the rice but not the salad...then we continued....but switched partners..Shiying got an *engine...ahem AKA Benji....and ii got Kaikin...Kaikin was fine and ii am sorry if ii slowed you down...ii really feel bad bout it....then after a long long time of paddling...we made it back to the shore and after having a COLD shower again...we went to the dining hall to eat...ii ate quite alot compared to yesterday's dinner...then we had a special event...we lit lanterns and let them float into the sky..it was really cool...and Benji found a hermit crab...it was cool...after tat..we went to bed..ii slept well this time....

Krabi Expedition 2009 (Day 1)
ii just got back from Krabi on Friday so decided to blog about the trip...it was really really fun and ii really wished we could have stayed longer....
1st day:
Well, because of some family problems, ii reached the airport 15 mins late....sorry...but really couldn't help it...next time..ii won't be late le...then we like wandered around the terminal until it was time to board the plane...we board the plane at about 1.40pm and the plane took off at 2pm..ii think..well....we landed at 3+ and we took a group photo after we landed...after that we took a van ride to the place where we were going to stay....after a short ride we reached COCONUT HOME! The place was right beside the sea so the view was really nice...we went inside our huts to put our stuff and change and meet again at the dining hall...after tat we went to the beach for a while and took a couple of pics...

Then we went back to the dining hall for dinner and since the meat and veggies were quite spicy..ii only ate the rice and a little of the veggies and gave the rest to the seniors...ii was really super hungry.....then we took the truck to the Festival market....the truck was really cold and ii got a cramp....about 20+mins later...we got to the Festival market and started to walk around...it was really quite cool....ii but some jelly and sushi and Kelin, Persis and Keren bought a sugercane drink that was in the sugercane itself...it was really cool...then we walked around somemore and we found this cool store that puts your name on necklaces n keychains and it was super cheap so alot of us bought some....then while waiting for the things to be done...ii walked around with Waichong and Jiasheng...they went tried catching fish and Waichong actually succeeded..and afterwards he gave his fish to a local since cannot bring back...then after buying more food...we went back in the truck and after a briefing and a COLD shower...we went to sleep...
